Water safety in Wales
Wales has a high number of seasonal lets and some properties on private water supplies, both of which need extra care around stagnation, recommissioning and sampling.
Typical properties we work with in Wales include holiday lets, rural properties on private supplies, universities, social housing and public buildings. Water supply in the region is generally mostly soft.
Regulations in Wales
In Wales, the same health and safety framework applies as in England: the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, COSHH 2002 and HSE's ACoP L8 and HSG274.
Enforcement. HSE and Welsh local authority environmental health teams enforce, depending on the type of premises.
